About Us

Holmes Pantoja, our owner, is an Internationally Certified Mountain Guide with over 20 years of experience working with clients in some of the world’s most challenging environments. Together with his wife, he founded Birds Hotel Molino, a boutique hotel just a 10-minute drive from the Ollantaytambo–Machu Picchu train station.

At BHM, we offer comfortable short term stays for birders. Our gardens, home to a variety of bird species, make it an attractive retreat for photographers and birdwatchers alike. In partnership with local guides, we also offer private birding tours throughout the Sacred Valley and in other regions of Peru.
